A good number of foreign students and migrant workers live in Venlo and the surrounding area. These are a people who return to their country of origin after spending some years here. There are also other people who do not speak Dutch at home though they have settled in Venlo for longer periods. Certainly, all these people are very welcome to the Eucharistic celebrations in our churches. In fact, some of them have already found their way to one of our churches. However, believing and participating in the Eucharistic celebration is also a form of community spirit. And this celebration is effectively done in one’s mother tongue or in a language that one has been learning for years.
To make the Eucharistic celebration more accessible to the above-mentioned groups, the City Parish of St. Martin - Venlo offers an English Eucharistic celebration once a a month.
